The aim is to achieve the maximum mechanical performance in the limited space of the e-motor. The decisive factor for performance is the quantity of copper installed. Thanks to the cross-sectional flexibility of BREUCKMANN’s copper coils, the copper fill factor is increased and consequently the performance or level of efficiency of the e-motors is increased.
Based on state-of-the-art technology, round wires made of copper are coiled up on spools. These round wires cannot make optimal use of the assembly space.
A process patented by BREUCKMANN enables the manufacture of pulled coils with variable geometry so that cavities between the copper wires can be eliminated. These pulled coils are mainly used in highly efficient motors for electrified mobility. Naturally, they are also suitable for increasing the efficiency of industrial motors.
